This assignment was to design a character, vehicle, and environment that combine to tell the story of a being who is marooned in a desolate place with a damaged vehicle and little hope of getting home. As a baseball fan, I imagined what my hometown stadium, Taichung Intercontinental Baseball Stadium, would look like when it became deserted. I illustrated my baseball hero, Ngayaw·Ake, and his grand-grandson. When his grand-grandson returned to the destroyed Earth, would he still remember Ngayaw·Ake hit a home run at the game against Cuba?
